27 plastic Rubik’s Cubes with adhesives.
Dimensions: variable. Photos: Tadeu Lopara.

"... Fixed points = movements, moving points = fixed elements". Considering relational aspects between spectator and art work – such as the endless possibilities of image association – the artist makes use of the Rubik’s Cube, placing on its six faces diagrams of completed origami designs. By manipulating the Cubes – 27 in total – the public can create numerous designs, with the possibility to return to the initial origami and/or animal design. In a continuous action of rearranging and overlapping images, turning the acts of erasing and saving a continuous change of places, the public interferes with and deepens this large sculpture. These Rubik’s Cubes energize the game, strengthening this small circuit that is “Animal or Machine”.
